MS/HS Achievement

In the high school achievement class, students take a variety of general education high school courses. These courses are taught by highly qualified (as per their specific content area), licensed teachers. MS/HS students in this program are at or above grade level in their core content areas. Although there is a vocational component, most of our MS/HS Achievement students are preparing for college. While helping students explore future colleges and careers, staff support students in determining short term and long term goals to help them prepare for post-secondary options. Such goals include independent living skills, college and work application and interview skills, and most importantly learning to work and interact appropriately with others. One of our MS/HS Achievement teachers, Miss Kathleen has this to say, “The staff and students are all great people and fun to work with and the students are hard working and very respectful despite the challenges they face.”
