Maintenance Position

Oakstone Academy School serves students Pre-school through High School in an inclusive learning environment where special needs students and typical students learn side by side. Due to growth and expansion in our organization, Oakstone Academy School is seeking a nurturing, positive, self-motivated, and hard working individual for its Maintenance Department. Full and part-time positions are available for the right candidate. Oakstone offers a competitive wage and benefits package.

This position offers working with a fantastic and professional staff along with serving an outstanding student population. With working in a school environment, no day will be the same and each day will have its own exciting challenges.

The details of the position are as follows:

Maintenance Position
Duties include overall daily cleaning responsibilities along with any special projects that might arise in order to insure the cleanliness and safety of the school, students, and staff.

Daily Duties would include:

  1. Sweep and Mop floors – Especially after lunch
  2. Clean Restrooms
  3. Clean Entry Windows
  4. Clean common spaces, i.e. Entry Ways, Hallways, etc.
  5. Remove Trash
  6. Complete daily checklist developed by administration at each location

Requirements: The potential candidate for this position must have their high school diploma or GED equivalent; have a clean Federal and state of Ohio Background checks, a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. This position will require standing, walking, kneeling, lifting, and walking up and down stairs for extended periods of time. Overall responsibilities will vary by location.
